Environmental Report
Weather: High of 64 with rain throughout the day.
Moons: Selenar - waxing crescent rising; Vaelith - new moon rising.
Astrology: Nothing of note.
Garden Report
Apprentice Druid Boudiath Moonshadow shares that she has obtained the necessary plants from along the city wall to meet our current needs for healing rations. Using a specialty spell, she ensured these transplants have already taken root. She reports that the current rainy weather is beneficial for the establishment of the garden. She is researching other plants that may be good to have in stock and has given me an initial order for garlic scapes.
Kitchen Report
Apprentice Halfling Finkin Havenbrace and I worked in the kitchen, creating six healing rations.
Alchemy Lab Report
I created three healing potions in the lab.
Chapel Report
Cleric Elowen Dawnbringer and Apprentice Cleric Rubria Hearthshine worked in the chapel and created two vials of holy water.
Training Report
Warrior Elvyn Thorngrit trained Apprentice Rogue Buddi du Elf and Apprentice Wizard Tar-Jel Varen in self-defense with a dagger. At the end of the training session, Buddi du Elf leveled up and became a level 4 Rogue. He has asked Sige Blackthorn to mentor him for his membership process. He will become eligible to undergo the process when he reaches level 5.
Warrior Elvyn Thorngrit worked with Special Apprentice Rudolph the Crimson in self-defense with his magic sliver antlers. At the end of the session, Rudolph the Crimson leveled up. He is now a level 3 Special Apprentice.
Working solo on an assignment provided by Wizard Boenra Nelja, Apprentice Wizard Tar-Jel Varen mastered a new spell, Lightning Bolt, and leveled up. He is now a level 2 Wizard.
Infirmary Report
After participating in today’s sewer sweep, Apprentice Special Warrior Santa Claus will require two days in the infirmary for healing and observation.
Hiring Report
I interviewed four candidates to work in our new Bounty Division. The three I hired began work today on a probationary basis. These employees will not be living in the Guild House, but they will be taking meals here at their own discretion. Please make them feel welcome. They are:
Brellen Stormhand — Security Specialist training with Corporal Darvin Steelfist, City Watch
Anya Soutbrew — Bookkeeper — Bounties/Reception training with City Watch Sergeant Myla “The Quill” Miresky
Tess “The Dart” Duvernette — Inventory Specialist/Runner training with City Watch Constable Willem Finch
At the end of the day, Willem Finch resigned from City Watch and will become part of our Bounty Division as Inventory Specialist and Bookkeeper in the Sales portion of the business.
Property Update
With permission from President Atlene Swiftsword and Treasurer Elowen Dawnbringer, I have approached the owner of The Gilded Goblet next door to sound him out on the possibility of buying the property as an annex to house our new Bounty Division. Despite his previous reluctance, as of close of business today he has agreed to enter into negotiations on this proposal. We will be meeting with him in the morning before we open for business.
Summary
The garden is progressing quickly, thanks to Apprentice Boudiath’s specialty Druid spells.
We had another productive day in the creation of consumables.
The onsite adventurers received cross training with Elvyn Thorngrit to improve their defensive skills.
One injury in the sewer sweep today.
